Known by various aliases, including "the com," the 764 group was reportedly founded in January 2021 by a teenager from Stephenville, Texas, named Bradley Cadenhead, who goes by the pseudonyms "Brad" or "Felix." The name "764" is derived from the ZIP code of Cadenhead's hometown, symbolizing both a personal connection and an attempt to anchor the group's identity in a specific American locale.
The group's ideological foundation is deeply intertwined with the Order of Nine Angles (O9A), a UK-based Satanist and neo-Nazi organization notorious for its blend of esoteric practices, Hitler worship, and accelerationist tactics aimed at societal collapse. As an offshoot of O9A, the 764 group has adopted and evolved these beliefs, focusing particularly on the manipulation and exploitation of minors through digital platforms such as Discord, Telegram, and Roblox.
